• Pot hole repairs via permanent reinstatements using conventional hot materials ie 6mm dense bitmac / 10mm close graded, SMA / 14mm HRA surface course on 20mm / 28mm binder course

• Modular repairs including PCC and natural stone flagging / kerbing, block paving, southport tiles

• Repairs, removal and replacement and erection of various items of street furniture including manholes, gullies, bollards, signage and guard rails

• Implementation of road closures and traffic diversions

• Response works including 2 hour response, 24 hour response, 5 day and 28 day response

• Full compliance to the recently introduced Traffic Management Act 2007 of works including excavations

• Out of hour emergency call out team to respond to various types of emergency’s including Road traffic accidents, floods, road closures, national disasters, removal of hazardous waste

• We provide a skilled and experienced work force accredited by the following recognised qualifications NRSWA,(New Road and Street Works Act), CSCS (Construction Skills Certification scheme), CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) complete with NVQ level 2 or 3

• Dowhigh also have an experienced management / supervisory team who have worked together within the department for over 10 years, with each member having over 20 years of experience within the industry, again all members of staff are CSCS accredited with an NVQ level 3 or 4

• Dowhigh have recognised the need and importance of professional traffic management especially High Speed Carriageways ie 50 mph plus. The department has now a fully qualified team of traffic management operatives, foreman, LTMO’s (Lead Traffic Management Officers), Managers and TSCO (Traffic Safety and Control Officer) all qualified via the Lantra Award National Qualification Scheme for Sector Scheme works

• Dowhigh are commonly requested to attend highway collapses to investigate the cause of the collapse, we have then been asked to repair / reinstate the defect.

• Due to our knowledge and experience of working within the highway maintenance industry we are aware of the need to deploy engineering practices where necessary to perform the initial request ie de watering or over pumping
