Liverpool Road Surfacing

Trusted in Liverpool to provide quality road surfacing for over 20 years

Working with local councils across the North West, including Liverpool City Council, Knowsley Borough Council and Sefton Borough CouncilDowhigh Civil Engineering based in Bootle are a professional civil engineering and road surfacing company.

We've been working with these local councils to provide essential road surfacing maintenance and installation. We offer not only emergency road maintenance but also planned and preventative work to ensure that the road network is maintained to a high standard.

Keeping you moving throughout Liverpool

We understand that a properly maintained road network is essential. It ensures that people can get to work on time, their children to school and reduces the stress and worry of time spent in the car.

That's why Dowhigh are trusted by councils across the district with contracted work throughout the area to keep the road network in good order.

Working with the council, we are tasked with assisting with road surfacing and maintenance work.

Our team of experienced professionals are on-hand in not only a maintenance capacity - repairing potholes and damaged road surfacing, but also through preventative work to resurface damaged roads which may become more damaged (leading to delays and closures) in the future.

We also provide surfacing on new roads in the area.

Much more than just surfacing

We don't just provide road surfacing expertise. As a professional Liverpool Civil Engineering company, we can also assist with a wide range of road, drainage and excavation skills. These include:

  • Muck shifting
  • Road inspection (where roads are depressed or subsided)
  • Large and small scale drainage - installations, repairs and maintenance
  • Sewerage work - installation, repairs and maintenance
  • New road building
  • Ground excavations and groundworks
  • Traffic calming

Dowfoam - utilising recycled aggregates for road & pathway construction

Dowfoam is Dowhigh's own recycled bespoke version of a stabilised, foamed bitumen material. We reuse the majority of the road surface we replace, reducing waste and therefore reducing our impact on the environment.
