Dowhigh Ltd. Appointed to Liverpool City Council’s New Highways Maintenance Contract

Dowhigh Ltd. is proud to announce that we have been appointed as a key delivery partner in Liverpool City Council’s newly awarded Highways Maintenance Contract, set to run for five years. The contract is valued at £13 million per year and marks a significant step forward in improving road infrastructure across the city.

A New Era for Liverpool’s Road Network

Liverpool City Council recently confirmed the award of the new highways maintenance contract, which aims to improve the quality, safety, and sustainability of roads across the city. The new arrangement splits the delivery of work into two geographical areas:

  • Dowhigh Ltd. will be responsible for delivering maintenance works in the north of the city
  • HA Civils Ltd. will deliver works in the south of the city

The contract will cover a wide range of highways and civils-related works, including repairs to carriageways and footways, drainage improvements, street furniture, and street lighting.

This strategic move is designed to improve both performance and value for money, while enabling more flexible and responsive delivery of works across Liverpool’s extensive road network.
