Woolton Primary school, Nursey Department wanted to create an outdoor play area for the children attending nursey to support a more engaging realistic outdoor play.
Kayleigh who is a Nursery Teacher approached Dowhigh enquiring as to whether they had any old traffic signs or cones to assist in setting up a construction play area for the children to encourage outdoor play during the current covid crisis.
The request fits with Dowhigh’s social values commitment to support local people within the communities we work. Furthermore, the principles of this request will assist in promoting educational growth in understanding the world of work happening around us.
Dowhigh felt it would be more beneficial to seek child sized equipment to encourage the children to learn about the road surfacing construction thereby, inspiring our future generation to think on a wider scale of possible career opportunities for all.
Trevor Murray Director at Dowhigh delivered the equipment to the children at the Woolton Primary Nursey and joined in the fun (see pictures).
