The Dowhigh Highway Maintenance division is an essential part of the Dowhigh business, providing councils across the North West of England with a professional service to help ensure that the highways and roads are maintained and run smoothly.
Working in partnerships with a number of local councils across the North West of England, Dowhigh deliver highways maintenance within the framework agreements for those councils, ensuring that maintenance requests are responded to efficiently and effectively.

With a team that has many years of experience of highways maintenance delivery, we have built up a positive partnership with our clients and have built a reputation of delivering high-quality projects – backed by experienced planning, connections with trusted supply partners and a dedicated, loyal workforce.
Our team also provide highway upgrade work, including crossings and traffic calming measures where required, either as part of a framework agreement or as individual tenders.
We understand the importance of the road network, and whether it’s a busy high street or a well travelled A road, we provide cost-effective and reliable road maintenance for our customers.
Dowhigh provide essential maintenance support under framework agreements for both Sefton Council and Liverpool City Council, ensuring that emergencies are attended to quickly and repaired within the timescales as outlined by each individual agreement.
We also assist with planned maintenance to networks, not only in the Liverpool district but all across the North West, assisting councils in Wigan, Manchester and St. Helens.
