On Tuesday we visited Lark Lane Community Centre where we are currently undertaking a major revamp of the road.
It was a pleasure to meet Rupert and John at the community centre to learn about the essential role that the centre plays for the people in the local community with a range of great events for ages 0 – 100!
The centre plays a big part with local pensioners, providing meals on Tuesday and Friday as well as organising days out, and have recently opened a pop-up cafe – another great addition to a vibrant area.
It’s great to see centres such as this helping their local community, and we were pleased to offer a donation which we are sure will be put to good use!
