With attrition at less than 4%, our loyal, local workforce are the very cornerstone of what we do. Our core business is concentrated in and around our North West head office based in Bootle, Liverpool.

OUR TEAM

Project Managers: Our project managers are the backbone of our operations, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. With years of experience in civil engineering, they adeptly handle the complexities of planning, coordinating, and executing a range of infrastructure projects. They work closely with clients to understand their needs and tailor our services to meet those requirements.

Engineers: Our team of civil engineers brings a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience, they ensure that every aspect of our projects is meticulously planned and executed. 

Site Supervisors: Leading our on-site operations, our supervisors ensure that our projects are executed safely and efficiently. They bring extensive experience in managing civils teams, coordinating logistics, and maintaining quality control. Their hands-on approach and problem-solving skills ensure that we can adapt to any challenges that arise during the construction process.

Skilled Tradespeople: Our team includes a diverse group of skilled tradespeople, each member of our team is highly trained and experienced, bringing a deep understanding of their craft to every project. Their expertise ensures that our work is not only sound but also finished to the highest standards.

Support Staff: Behind the scenes, our administrative and support staff play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our business. From human resources and finance, to IT and logistics, they ensure that our projects are supported by efficient and effective processes. Their work allows our on-site teams to focus on delivering high-quality construction services.

This local focus not only supports the regional economy but also ensures that our team has a personal investment in the success of our projects. Moreover, we are dedicated to sustainable practices in all our operations, striving to minimise our environmental impact and contribute positively to our communities.

With a team of over 60 full time employees, 100% of which are based in the North West area and over 95% living in Merseyside, Dowhigh have an experienced and skilled team, the majority of which have been employed by Dowhigh for more than 10 years.

With a strong back-office team providing essential day to day strategy and management to help out the team on the ground, we have a successful record of retaining key staff by providing the necessary training and skills to help them grow as well as helping us provide a wider range of skills.
