Project Overview
Works in Crescent Road, Southport are now complete – making the road safe and usable again.
After recent consultation with Sefton Council, it was agreed that resurfacing would be a better strategy than micro-surfacing – especially as the road continues to deteriorate.
Director Trevor Murray recently met with local council Lee Durkin who had been approached by many local people who had complained about the condition of the road, and despite the council making previous provision for repairs by micro-surfacing, the road has continued to break down over time.
After reviewing the condition of the road, it was agreed that further micro-surfacing would not resolve the underlying issues, and only a full resurface of the road would resolve the issues.
Work was completed in May 2021.
