This job was completed over two planned visits, resurfacing a much needed section of highway on the border of Lancashire / Merseyside.
The works included:
- Cleaning and surveying the existing drainage system
- Planning off the old carriageway surface
- Laying dedicated locations of binder
- Laying superflex surface course
- Repairing, replacing and reconnecting numerous items of drains.
The majority of the works where performed during evening / night closures.
