On 4th October, Dowhigh met with Paul Vine, headmaster of Leamington Community Primary School to present sports equipment for school use.
The school is at the heart of recent works undertaken in Norris Green in and around the Scarisbrick Drive / Scarisbrick Crescent area.
Paul kindly took former pupil Steve Coyle around the school, showing him the many additions and changes that have taken place since he was there including new building additions as well as a former bus which has since been converted into an external room for use.
There was a massive range of sports equipment that was donated including:
- Lacrosse sets
- Soft footballs
- Fold up gym mats
- Foam javelins
- Tri-golf sets
- Wooden archery kit
- Junior bibs
- Dodgeballs
- Handballs
- Soft touch volleyballs
- Rugby balls
- Footballs
- Netballs
- Soft cricket balls
- Shin pads
- Pop up goals
- Orienteering kits
- Multi skills equipment
Some of the school children helped us take the equipment into the sports hall – and were all too happy to have their picture taken with some of the equipment!
Hope you all enjoy the kit!
